[Website Updates]2025 Changes

Getting some work done as the new year begins. I’ve been writing on some old projects now that I have more time to focus on work. I did an update on BlueSky and now here. I have been writing the Storytime posts and getting them ready for posting. I felt it was best to release them gradually. This way, the website doesn’t get completely consumed with the memoir. I have other works I plan on talking about. I also have projects I plan on announcing.

The look has changed, but also cleared up things for visitors. I also changed the location of my Spotify listening list Tuning into Tunes. I began doing this on Blue. There, I’ve been making music recommendations. Music has always played a huge part of my life and influenced me in many ways throughout my life. So, I decided to start sharing this part of myself more publicly.

I have made plans to start working on a big set of projects. I would like to open them at a gallery. I’ve barely showed my non-digital works that include drawings and paintings. My main work has always focused on digital manipulation. Yet, I offer more than just that within my art. Art and writing have played major factors in my healing process and coping with my CPTSD condition.

I want to start conversations by sharing my stories. I will share things from my life, not just the sadder aspects. I will also include the better, more joyous things. ‘The thinking woman’s’ project. These stories and pieces will be included with my Storytime. These stories will be different. They will focus more on the thoughts I’m having at the moment rather than sharing stories from my past. True blogging.

In the late 90s, I began blogging. I used popular sites that were just starting out to throw messages in metaphorical bottles into the wind. Sometimes what I would reach someone through things I had in common. Music, writing, or even reading. I believe it’s time to get back to some of the things I enjoyed from my younger years. My life has changed a lot in the last decade and I ‘lost’ myself for awhile.
